The Futura Les Paul Custom represents Epiphone's contemporary take on the iconic Gibson® Les Paul®, engineered for performers who demand both tonal authenticity and modern features. Built around a mahogany body with maple cap and weight-relieved construction, this instrument preserves the classic warm midrange and brightness balance Les Paul players expect. The Midnight Ember Shift finish–a colour-shifting chromatic coating–delivers striking on-stage presence without compromising the guitar's fundamental character or resonance.
Construction centres on a glued-in mahogany neck with long tenon and fast Modern C profile, paired to a bound ebony fingerboard carrying 22 stainless steel medium jumbo frets and a 10”–14” compound radius for clean chording and bends across the full 628.65 mm scale. Electronics hinge on Epiphone's new ProBucker® Ignite humbuckers–high-output pickups engineered for clarity–wired to dual volume and tone controls with push/pull coil-splitting and phase-switching options. Hardware includes a LockTone® Tune-O-Matic® bridge, Stop Bar tailpiece, and locking Grover® Rotomatic® tuners fitted with a Graph Tech® nut for tuning stability and reliable intonation.
The instrument suits recording sessions, live performance, and content creation equally. Seven-ply top binding and Modern Contoured Heel shaping aid both visual definition and upper-fret access, while Posi-Lok® strap buttons prevent accidental slippage during performance. A premium gig bag is included, enabling straightforward transport between venues and studios.
